You walk out knowing your passport application won’t hit delays. Passport photo mistakes are a leading cause of application rejections, with poor quality being the most common reason—we eliminate that risk entirely.
Your photos meet every federal specification. Your application processes smoothly. Your travel timeline stays intact.
No weeks of waiting only to get a rejection letter. No scrambling to find another photographer before your 90-day deadline expires. Just professional results from people who’ve been getting it right since 1990.
School & Office Annex has served West Gate families since 1990. We’ve photographed thousands of passport applicants and know exactly what government inspectors look for—and reject.
You’re not dealing with rotating chain store staff who learned the basics last week. You’re working with experienced local business owners who’ve built our reputation on getting details right.
West Gate’s diverse community includes many families navigating passport and visa requirements. We understand the importance of getting documentation right the first time, especially when travel plans and family visits depend on it.
No appointment needed. You come in, we handle everything else. Professional positioning, proper lighting, exact specifications—all covered.
Your photo must be taken within the last 6 months, so we ensure it reflects your current appearance. We check every requirement: exact 2×2 inch dimensions, head positioning, background standards.
You receive two regulation prints immediately. We guarantee they meet current federal specifications because we stay current with changing requirements. Photos taken too close, too far away, or with poor quality get rejected—ours don’t.

Eyeglasses are no longer permitted unless you have a medical exemption with doctor documentation. Head positioning must be exact. Background must be pure white with no shadows or patterns.
We handle technical details most people don’t know about: proper facial positioning, shadow elimination, exact measurements from chin to crown. Your head should measure 1-1⅜ inches from top to bottom of chin, with white spaces between your face and image borders.
For West Gate families with young children, we’re experienced with infant requirements where babies’ eyes don’t need to be entirely open, but older children must meet adult standards. We work efficiently with all ages.
